Fire Brand of the AL conducted a great interview with Bill James a few days ago. No direct fantasy baseball stuff in there, but one question and answer caught my attention.

We all expected big things from Jay Bruce in 2008 as the top rated prospect in all of baseball. Especially when he came out of the gates hot. While he did deliver 21 HR’s in 2008, the .254 AVG hurt. Hopefully that mediocre showing will keep some members of your league skeptical of Bruce in 2009.
